I typically don't either, however, it's up to the state to clearly mark the roads. Yes it cost me time, yes I'm obsessive, I'm local (Arkansas) but the thought of out-of-state drivers being trapped and ticketed peeved me off.

White county is a very nice area. You could easily catch a trout close to home. And I know the exact bridge the DOT stayed at east of Vilonia, west of El paso.

I am not familiar with trout (Other than camp greentop near camp david where I was given instruction on how to cut and prepare it for cooking. what a day that was) I am more familiar with the basic fish Arkansas stocks in certain ponds. I think lets see here... there should be one still in heber, but not greers. Too much bacteria near the dam but another pond of thought would be down along the uncle pete tracks on the old 367 before you hit cabot, you follow me? Its a bit out of the way in the bayous to the north before I think ward.

I don't know yet what has been done since they built that new connector towards lonoke county where they raise fish. And alot of it.

I am not a sportsman but I can do a bit of fish or hunt if I get the licensing to do so. (Colt has a 5 inch barrel, legal for hunting in certain situations) but a rifle will be a big deal where i am. Ive got my eye on a reproduction Win 84 model with a decent bore but it will need a few things to take the Acog which I am ok with. Not a sharpshooter by anymeans.

I'm allergic to night fishing... but I know what you mean. I'm not much of a sportsman either, used to be into it. My family has a farm in Okolona AR, about 12 miles from Southfork Truckstop. I hunt and fish there sometimes...

    Good for you.
What many don’trealize (or are just to lazy to care) is if no one stands up and rights identified wrongs then the wrongs will always remain the same,

So they decide trucks can’t go down that straight road but we can take those crazy ozark backroads with 14% grades no shoulders and narrow lanes. Gotcha.

It’s highlighted like the approved truck routes are supposed to be.

That usually happens in direct proportion with increases in the snowflake population along the straight road.

Well, it was $175 ticket. I took 2 days off work, although I doubt that really cost me since I still was close to using up my 70/8. Practically speaking, it probably wasn't worth the time. However, do me wrong, and I will become an obsessive jerk. The obsessive jerk in me wants to sue the state of Arkansas and make them pay back all the fines they've collected from the "working class" folks trying to make an honest living and getting f'd over.
It would have to be federal court since "the state can't be a defendant in her own courts". It's federal laws, so it may work.
Did I mention that I'm obsessive? LOL

Those roads are not the problem.

The problem is the deliberate entrapping of trucks where you also failed to provide a way for them to legally get back out.

If you didnt like the Ozarks or Appalachians with the crookeds thats ok. There are many who rely on the hard to get to hills for peace and quiet.
