Elogs rule! Can't run illegally with Elogs; if you get caught, the company will claim they knew nothing about it.
    Time to change jobs.

With all the time wasted arguing you could have picked up the load and delivered it legally and been on your way home.

And 16 hours to go 581 miles???? Thats ridiculous!!! At most that's 10 hours of drive time... Maybe 12 if you hit the worst traffic jams in the country. In the last 4 days (Wednesday through Saturday) I have run 2721 miles... Which included KC and twice through St. Louis, plus got unloaded and reloaded!!!!

    Are you with USA Truck?
Switch to Frock Bros. Trucking or Calex Logistics; both out of PA.
Frock Bros. need 6 mos. experience.
Calex Logistics hires new cdl school grads.

I don't think Frock Bros will take him up on it just yet. They are very high class up there.

They dispatched 581 zip code to zip code miles. The actual miles were 612 and they gave 16 hours to do it not including any time at all for the stop to get an empty trailer nor did they give any time at all for the live load. There was also no additional time given for driving through Chicago and St. Louis rush hour traffic or dropping the loaded trailer and then getting to safe parking after the drop.

612 miles with all of that is in no way possible to do in 11 hours with the route speed limits and traffic. It required at least 10 more hours for a reset which is what I asked for before declining it and that request was ignored.

You can violate HOS regulations if you want. I'm not. And nobody's going to talk me in to even considering risking a violation. My record is squeaky clean and I will keep it that way.

It is also not possible to drive 1500 miles from Tulsa to where I live starting on the 9th after a live unload scheduled for 13:00 and getting home with energy to be awake for moms services on the 12th. Yes, 1500 miles can be done in e days, at the end of that 3 day trip sleep is going to have to happen.

I'm going to look and feel my best for my mom on the last day I will ever see her. Nothing and nobody is going to hinder that.
