I had a good Sunday. I drove from our yard in Fontana, CA to a wide road side pull out just south of Fallon, NV. I have two long crates strapped to a flatbed, total shipment weight is less than 2000 lbs. Delivery first thing tomorrow morning and I will likely need to insert ear protection.

Bishop, CA was my chosen spot for my 30. I park on the ample, wide shoulders on US-6 at the north end of town. The biggest attraction?...

    ...Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.

It's right there at the intersection of 395/6. The quality and selection are like Whole Foods (Whole Paycheck). The employees are super polite and customer focused. Then comes the sticker shock...

...when is the last time you bought a bag of groceries for under $12!!!??? I #### you not. This place absolutely ROCKS.

High temperature today was 80°F. Tonight's low will be in the 40's. Methinks the snow chains may become important soon.

"Oh Gawd! Oh Gawd! What if it SNOWS!!!???"

Indeed. I pee in my backyard when it would be easier to go inside.
Something about airing the boys out.....

Grocery outlet. Love it. I do all my shopping there. Never know what you’re going to find!

    On the 5
    Exit 618 in California
    Exit 745 in California.
    Exit 103 in Oregon

All three of those are easy parks for trucks. 745 is the vista exit in Weed by the Pilot.

There’s lots of others I just don’t remember exactly where they are till I get close.

    2old, D.Tibbitt and Lepton1 Thank this.
