Sorry. NO this is FALSE. Illinois has once again sent it to the Governor's desk and whoever that is now is reviewing it. They have 60 days to approve or deny it. If neither are done it goes to the state senate for a vote. I just asked this question at our safety meeting last week and that is what i was told.
ok drivers, how 'bout that 65 in Ohio?

I just came out of ohio sunday and didnt see one single 65mph speed sign for trucks, only 55. I was on I 70eb and I 75nb. watched a trk pass me doing 62 and get pulled over and given a ticket. as for illinois, they are rasing it. the new gov has already said he will sign it and its to go in affect this month sometime.

Warning tickets are common in that stretch, doubt very seriously it was a chargeable Citation.

Ties in with them considering all new construction for tolls pretty well.
It's definitely 65 now. All the 55 signs I saw were covered running through Cincinnati. -

my best friend got a ticket in ohio for 4 over, then a few mths later got one for 3 over. he actually got a lawyer and fought them and got them dropped, but it cost him a good penny to that lawyer, but was worth it vs losing job and not hirable. yes, pls do let us all know now that its july if those 55 signs in ohio are covered up now.

Yes they do write Warning Tickets in OHIO!
Not well known for it,but it does happen.
In my personal experience its been the way I handle "myself" and the lack of BS I attempt to slide by the LEO.
Acquiring the proper electronics tends to minimize LEO interaction
