Not even a Gittler? It's completely made of stainless steel and won't be affected by humidity and it only weighs about 5 pounds.

Fortunately Gittler guitars don't suffer from any of those humidity problems.
They're all tig welded together and there's no glue anywhere.
They even make an all titanium version that only weighs 3 pounds.

Klos even makes a carbon fiber guitar impervious to humidity.

Jack white uses mostly his older beat up guitars for everything- and ALWAYS in his live shows. Says he likes the challenge of trying to play with guitars that won’t stay in tune.

I could never imagine having that kind of complete understanding of any instrument.

As a bass player, I get a kick out of guitar players when they start talking about amps and guitars and I know how horny they get.

Have a boner on me guys! lol

I kind of imagine that'd be like playing a scalloped fretboard.

    Got a cool guitar story.
3 years ago my wife and I go see Steve Vai who is touring the 25th anniversary of his Passion / Warfare record.
Drop $20 at the merchandise table for a raffle ticket, gonna draw for a Vai guitar.
4 months or so later the wife gets a call from Steve himself telling her she is the winner.
The guitar arrives and I guess it is famous and he used it on a Hendrix tour?
I am a fan of his skillset but not necessarily all his music.
Neither of us play we just like to see live music .
She asks what to do w it and I said sell it. I got no use for it.
She sold it for 7 grand to a Vai fan. 02.jpg

Steve Vai is an interesting character. A unique sound and style that stands out. His solo work is an acquired taste for sure. He was David Lee Roth's guitarist for a while after he part ways with Van Halen:

I lugged around my Taylor 414 for several years. Zero issue with it. Had a very nice case for it, and never left it in the truck during extreme hot or cold.

I've been running through the last 8 pages so I could get to the end and mention Steve Vai. I'm glad somebody beat me to it. Back in the day Roth really had a superband with all the the talent he had. Steve Vai on guitar, Billy Sheehan on bass, Greg Bissonette on drums.
