Look china, you and I know that there is no retaking of a physical after being under, but there are a lot of drivers who believe the lunch counter bs no matter how it sounds. No issues with the drivers, but ... sometimes you can't tell a driver it ain't true no matter what.

Back in 1970, I am sitting in my uncles office, he had a 125 truck fleet at the time and some of his drivers came in and said they heard that Nixon at a truck stop off of michigan avenue, now these guys were not stupid but they insisted that Nixon was there speaking to drivers as getting their take on inflation and the economy.

My uncle knew the truck stop owner and called him to confirm that Nixon was actually there but the owner said he is clueless to what was going on. These drivers were asked where they heard this and they said they heard it when they were at lunch at the gulf station down the road.

So a bunch of years later, I am sitting with one of the drivers and my dad, they were talking about Hoffa and how he was screwed by Nixon, then the driver told my dad that Nixon was at a truck stop in between Ann Arbor and Jackson just before this happened, the guy still believed it happened.

By the way, Nixon was in Yugoslavia on that day.

 

I wonder if its because asians dont eat alot of sugar, although americans eat more sugar than the british and americans have much better teeth. Scientists said ancient Romans had perfect teeth probably because of their diet

 

You're right, they don't like anything that's too sweet.
I bought a birthday cake for my nephew when he visited us from China. He couldn't eat it; thought it tasted horrible because it had too much sugar.
One of my friends in China has the most beautiful, white, perfect teeth. She said she only brushes once a week and the rest of the time just rinses with water. Doesn't have bad breath either.

 

I had knee surgery for a work related injury, so my carrier knew about it. I didnt have another physical for over a year.

 

I was coming into jacksonville on night and hit a backup. They were working on overhead signs and had a rolling road block going on. Everybody was talking about it and one guy kept asking what was really the cause. After he had asked several times I told him an airplane had crashed in the interstate up ahead and that satisfied him, no more was said about what was really happening. I left the interstate and went around Jacksonville with several trucks following me, apparently this idiot was one of them, because as soon as we got back on 95 south of town, he started warning northbound trucks about the airplane crash. lol
