Over the last 5 year's my annual average heating cost for my home is roughly $150.00... That's including the cost of wood permits, a few new/spare saw chains, saw oil & fuel, splitter fuel & oil, and fuel for the pickup to go to the hills to get the wood. If you also add in the cost to build the 27 ton log splitter and the Stihl MS 391 chainsaw, the annual average heating expense over 5 years is still less than $500... And getting lower and lower every year.

We got one of those too. It's pretty cool for the two nights a year when it gets cold.

You guys pay sooo much for heat and a/c.

My annual heating and a/c Bill is Zero.

My house has neither heat nor a/c.

If it’s hot open a window. If it’s cold close the window. Done. There’s maybe 3 days a year where you need a sweatshirt.
