Let's just say a guy dropped his head set in cow dung today. Lets say he cant hear himself fart without it. Is there any place besides the dang truck stop to get one of much quality?

Either buy a pre-emission truck or build the ISX and delete it.

    They’re junk motors.

I’ll add the DEF era ISX motors are junk.

The earlier generation in late 2000s? Couldn’t tell ya. Think they do better on the reliability spectrum but since TTR enjoys banning all the informational members over nonsensical bs I can’t ask the HP for ya.

Webern in the truck every night except for 3 since mid July and I feel the same way.

am making Zoe’s life miserable? But she seems happy and energetic most days and still curls up under the blankets every night -So I hope so

I am CAT through and through. I will say they are not for everyone and lemons exist in every make or model. So how about just general advice that applies to either.

There is a company in Arizona called Mawk industries that can make a plug and play adapter harness for which ever engine you decide to go with relatively inexpensive. Your radiator is compatible with either though you make have to get tubes made to hook it up again not a big issue. Honestly Detroit is hard to beat those 12.7's are every bit as reliable as a 3406 so you may shop around and see what's available and go from there. Detroit will also be less expensive to work on. I have a couple of friends that are independent shops and made these swaps a few times. Both say it's really not bad......though can be expensive
