I25 was not overly impressive for the cars. There are just a few '50s era cars roped off around the convenience store.otterinthewater, 2old and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

Food tip on the Russels on I40.
They have a green chili stew out in those soup containers in the C-store that is dang good. Comfortable level of heat for those of us that are in the "pain is not a flavor" crowd. Basic ingredients is Pork (I think), green chilies, and taters. Basic comfort food. I would pair it with a chunk of corn bread if available.
Same stuff is also in the travel center at Sky City.otterinthewater, G13Tomcat, 2old and 1 other person Thank this. -
The best lip treatment by far is Carmex. You can buy a small squeeze bottle that will last for a couple of months.
The most plentiful active ingredient of Carmex is lanolin aka "sheep sweat". Lanolin is the oil from sheep that saturates wool. It is a natural healing "ingredient" that will help any kind of surface wound.
When I was a boy my family kept a large bottle of pure lanolin in the medicine cabinet. We worked hard in the field and on mechanical things. At the end of the day we rubbed lanolin over our hands to heal any open cuts or sores.
Carmex adds menthols and other ingredients to boost the healing power. I always had Carmex in my backpack when climbing. It was my "go to" treatment for chapped lips or chapped hands when climbing big mountains like Mt. Rainer or Denali.
Get RID of wax based Chapstick. Switch to lanolin based Carmex. You won't be sorry.RidgeRunner731, dwells40, austinmike and 4 others Thank this. -
I would love to spend a day in the middle of the studio during a Brass Against recording. They use a number of different vocalists. It's simply amazing...
