I will be purchasing my first truck and I just want some opinions on the kind of truck I should be looking at. We are going with forward Air terminal to terminal. Pretty much staying in the midwest and southeast...we have been teaming for 4yrs we run hard. We need a truck that can handle us.

If you’ve been teaming for 4 years already wouldn’t you know what truck to get?

I think that should work pretty good for you.

Knowing what not to get is not the same as knowing what to get. If they don't like what they've been in, it may not help in determining what they should be in. I can tell them one they should not be in. But it is just my humble opinion. I'd say no to a Volvo. Seats are too hard. And the sleeper was hard on my back. Could not imagine sleeping in a moving one. Trucks I'd give a nod to aren't made anymore. I used to love a good old T600 KW.

I would start by looking at specing it for the type of haul and go from there. Most any truck with a sleeper will work for a team, just look and see if the interior is set up to your liking.

I am not much on any new truck, but personally if I was looking and going to basically live in a truck with another person, as bad as I hate to say it, I would start my search by looking at western starts and freightliner coranados,
That said, IF I even thought about it, it would be with my wife, and it would probably be a hood with a custom 120 in sleeper.

Maybe let's start with what you have driven first before we can give a suggestion.

Drooling.... I'm not a fan of teaming but if I was offered this truck to team in I'd probably do it against my better judgement
