    He got to drive for food lion as a rookie? Did they outsource the transportation? I don’t see food lion trucks anymore... I think it’s Adesa or something?

    Some research from Food Lion showed USA customers were turned off by the British lion emblem; especially in Texas. I hauled a few loads from their warehouse in Texas to the Carolinas when they were shutting down. The name "Food Lion" wasn't the problem; it was the British emblem and especially Texans felt it was unpatriotic to spend money there. "Don't mess with Texas."
