“All states give officers a limited exemption from certain traffic laws for emergency driving. This exemption recognizes the social importance of rapid response and apprehension of fleeing criminals. Any driving at high-speeds and contrary to normal rules of the road carries a risk of injury to others. That risk of injury is weighed against the need for quick response and arrest of violators.”

You struggle with reading comprehension don't you? Or are you just aware that you've lost the argument and so insist upon arguing against points that I didn't make?

Strange, I’ve been thinking the same thing all day. But you seem to insist on not seeing.

If you read a few posts back, I included an entire section from a training guideline. I’ll find the link.

All in all I don’t give a crap, my biggest problem is that you think that the average police officer is a better than average driver and there’s absolutely zero evidence to substantiate that idea.

Actually, your bigger problem is that you don’t understand that they have received training that the average driver.

But as you said, “All in all I don’t give a crap...”. That tells me all I need to know. I’m at a dead end with you and chaos, it’s pointless to continue the conversation. Believe what you will, regardless of evidence.

I’ve hardly said anything, they receive some basic training in the academy and that’s it.

    You have provided no “evidence”
