Go to Sheridan, then move to Tennessee where there's 4 seasons, no personal income taxes and plenty of trucking jobs.
I'm from Tennessee, but moved to Nevada; love hot weather.

    This company hires in Tennessee:
A&R Transport -> www.drivewithar.com - non-hazmat dry bulk tanker. There's a loading facility in Nashville and a terminal in Jackson, TN. They'd probably be glad to get a Sheridan graduate. They hire new grads from accredited cdl schools....

Plenty of land in Ohio, LoL.. I own a few acres for my 'private' hunting, but I share, haha! Montana is beautiful, if you don't mind winters. Good money driving out yonder, too.

Alaska? Bet @starmac could hook you up. I did that once.. NOPE, I'm good. Me and chains aren't friends atall. LoL.

That's something you wanna figure out before you make any moves. Two totally different jobs with a different approach as to how to get your CDL to do them. Local you will earn a paycheck working the dock while they train you and get you your license. Otr you are gonna end up owing someone money more likely than not but that seems to be the way into that line of work. There are no right or wrong answers, it's whatever you think will make you happy and give you the money you need to maintain your lifestyle.

Decker runs the Northwest and hires students. I love the Northwest if I could talk my wife into moving I’d be in Montana.
