Mine was Truman.

 

E-model with C-15 upgrades, essentially. The high point of diesel motor technology along with the Cummins Signature 600. The MBN bridge motor (6NZ style block with different ECM tuning) was the beginning of the downward trend towards the ACERT technology.

Nothing wrong with MBN motors (they can be flashed into a 6NZ setup) or the C-15 ACERT's (they can be modified to run better) but the 6NZ was the last CAT motor that didn't need modifications to run 1 million miles problem free when properly looked after.

E-models and 6NZs demand a high price now mostly because of the names, and they can be tuned up to 700-800 hp without much effort (but a lot of money, Kustom Truck just posted one on their Facebook page with the full upfit kit that they sell for $75k complete).

But unless you are pulling heavy (100k+) on a regular basis, you don't need the big block power to get the job done.
