Deli areas of a grocery store may have them as a rotisserie style. Even wall-mart has been known to stock them.

    2old and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

My dad told me to marry a fat woman. "She gives you heat in the winter and shade in the summer."

Pour some salt on those blisters when they open. Punks not dead.

That link is a cruel cruel trick Jack. There’s nothing going on.

I thought it was going to be P51 sounds that I could play at high volume in my freightliner Cascadia P51.

    Why go small...

...when you can go BIG like Glen Plake?

The following video isn't shot by Glen Plake, just a new generation following in his footsteps, trying to ski one of his "lines". In the '90's he was a legend of "big air". I saw him take a 100'+ cliff at Whistler Mountain in BC after a 3' dump of powder. When he impacted the 45° slope at landing he disappeared down into the snow, then reappeared about 20' downslope launching out of the snow like a submarine on an extreme surface drill.

I unexpectedly knocked something off my bucket list today. I visited Slab City, CA.

As I understand it, this particular work of "art" is the lifetime achievement of a man who spend decades pouring concrete and then painting it. It's an actual "town".

When you enter Slab City you cross a short bridge with a small, guard shack sized building that's garishly painted to say "The LAST Free Place on Earth". There are hundreds of "free livers" in RV's, mobile homes, and makeshift dwellings as you pass through the "city".

Many have American flags flying, with billboards or other artwork announcing they are veterans of wars, speaking out in support of the second amendment, or in support of causes that might be totally opposite.

I had an armored truck on the deck...
    0920191356.jpg
...as I slowly drove through the neighborhood in order to not kick up dust from the dirt road, a man with a HUGE smile on his face and tears running down his cheeks stood at his fence line and proudly saluted me as I went by. I choked up a little. He had Gulf War placards on his fence. I returned the salute and gave a blast of my air horn. He grinned and pumped his fist.

At the blast of the air horn other neighbors came out of their trailers and saluted. I must have been about the 20th truck coming up to supply a Marine camp for training.

It's a ###### good feeling to deliver for our men and women in uniform. It's also a ###### good feeling to see the at times intense patriotism that folks display when I carry a load like this.

    "Commifornia?"

Oh hell, there are patriots in EVERY state. Don't kid yourself that just because your state is "red" that it has a corner on the Patriot market. If you believe THAT I would love to sell you a bridge in Brooklyn.
