    Novoids,

I understand the time with your trainer is 8 weeks. How much home will you have in the 8 weeks?

all drivers im sure are going to tell you a different mileage so to be accurate i can tell you what we have done since ive been with my trainer and mind u we dont run team. We have averaged 2800 to 3100 wkly. So id say thatss ok from ny standpoint . Do i expect that much when im alone i dont think so not till i truely understand the game and have some unassisted miles under my belt i would love to acheive that from the get go but im trying to be realistic . My starting pay after training will be .33 cpm (500 wkly during training ) all fuel stops r givin to u after u accept the load offering and receive your suggested route then u ask for exact directions to shipper locally and consignee locallyor both together on qualcomm.i got lucky and am in a brnd new prostar for training. As far as tractors go ive seen all differnet yr trks so its anyone guess what you or i would end up with. Im a student i certainly dont expect to get a brand new one when there are so many before me with much more time and expeirence in then i have (dont get me wrong i would love one) so what ever i get as long as it isnt a nasty mess ill be ok i dont want a trk that smells and has been treated poorly by someone else i dont feel that is fair to me either.. The running area all i can say is 48 states is what ive been told unless u get on regionalother drivers who have been here for longer then i would be the ones to ask .sorry im to new to try to honestly answer that one.there are alot of guys on here who can answer some of the questions i cannot .so all i have to say to that is pick and choose your decision wisely listen to all but weed out the negative just use your gut feeling .after all its u who has to live with your decision. Not someone else..whats bad for some maybe just fine for you . And you are different then that person is so your needs are different .please think if you choose not to go with crete thats fine alsoim not here to recruit .i just wanted to maybe answer some questions you couldnt get answered anywhere else or at least get them answered honestly and positively i hope ive achieved that .. Thank you be safe

to the best of my knowledge you get 4 days home time in the 8 wk period. I dont know for sure if u r guarenteed the same trainer you started with after you leave that trk but from wht ive heard it doesnt happen to often . Which isnt to say it wont happen to me . So we will see . I put in for home time fro the 10th which is fri sat sun an mon so ill keep u advised

ive grown to like the prostar . at first i liked the century cause if even for a wk and a half i was settling in. but the prostar is much quieter for sure .i would doubt i would get a prostar after orientation ( even though i can still dream) we will see maybe if i continue to work hard and do well people in higher places mite see it my way ha ha . but im fine with a century . as long as it is clean and not abused. as for mileage look a few posts back i covered that thank you be safe oh by the way ive been home for thurs fri sat and possible sun ill keep u informed when i go back out . GREAT TO SEE MY WIFE AND OLDEST DAUGHTER.MY YOUNGEST 2 ARE VISITING GRANDPARENTS SO I DONT GET THE PLEASURE OF THEM TILL AFTER ORIENTATION BOOO HOOO . BUT WE ALL WILL SURVIVE

week one down 5 more to go. School is going all right besides im still trying to get down the offset backing. Some people in my class allready have it down to a science but a couple of us are still having some probs. But i still have 5 more weeks. Mon we are spending most of the day upshifting and downshifting. Hopeing they dont get rid of me for not being able to get the offset down to a science like some of the class has. Just have to keep working at it.
