ok good, and for extra measure, i went back to read your original posting.
there can be some "bad blood" with the company in how you quit.
1) in other words, was it a "I quit"...
2) or was it, "on such and such a day, will be my last day"..
quitting..???
the company may be snarky that they wanted a full 2 weeks notice.
i have been "on the record here" many times saying that I NEVER GAVE ANY NOTICE when i quit a job.
i could care less what was said about me, by the former employer(s)
but you may have a spiteful employer that is just not happy with the way you quit....again, was it either # 1 or # 2 when you did.???
frankly too, when you go job hunting, just be upfront with any new potential employer that you quit, for personal reasons.
this should not really hold you back, and that rebuttal to DAC will be duly noted.
also like some have said, just go to a smaller company. you cannot downright ask ANY potential employer if they subscribe to DAC or not, that'll send up the red flags instantly..
i wish you well, you will do fine, and remember, it's not necessarily why you quit...BUT HOW you quit, in the future.

So far Western Express was willing to hire me, and Hogan. But they pay for western express was a joke and flat insulting. 40 cpm for an experienced driver doing OTR flatbed... but supposedly they are averaging 1300/wk? there is no way they are getting almost 300 a week in tarp, stop, and detention pay.
Hogan doesn't sound to bad on paper, but reading the reviews on here, wow I'm really nervous about that one. 47 cpm, which is a little low for my experience but on the plus side no NortheastFlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
Every call I get once they ask their basic questions, I tell them upfront about the issue on my DAC, last company said that doesn't even show up on my DAC its something they put when they verify my employment, so I cant even get it removed. Which makes it even worse. How do you go about disputing that?

Hogan is known for small paychecks.
Maybe their car hauling division pays better. I've seen those here in Las Vegas.
