What if it Snows?

You guys who don't visit the "Where Are You Again..." thread... you don't know the interesting images you guys are missing..
Here are some... not sure anybody here has seen....
These pictures were taken in Hidrolandia and nearby... that's rural area in the middle of nowhere, northeast of Brasil....























My dad is the skinny guy when he was 27 yrs old or so.. he was learning to be an air plane pilot... but couldn't pursue the career because he was considered too old...



Coco nut juice and orange juice... from the trees in the back yard...



Bars of "rapadura"... which is pure sugar from sugar cane... very popular in the northeast of Brasil.

Arriving in Rio de Janeiro... Flew from Fortaleza (Capital of Ceara in the northeast to Rio de Janeiro in the southeast)

You do realize your going to have to sleep right? You might find the truck buried in the white stuff when you awake for being a slacker and taking ten hours off to catch up with us. lol

Put a one eighth inch hole in the side of that nozzle near the trigger. Also put a magazine on it and you have a nifty BB gun!

You can share that heat you know. We will gladly share some of our days that are coming next week that are only going up to 55F for the high.

With that I will read about what ever retorts you fine gentlemen come up with tomorrow. I am going to bed. Been a interesting day of lawn mowing today (earned $60 of $100 promised, the 40 wants me to mow, yet if the check isnt there, dont unload the mower until she remembers to pay you). Since mowing is done. Tomorrow I can do some more wrenching on the crankshaft. Laters all. Dont write too much. If it is more than three pages I will be skipping alot of the humor.

That is pretty cool looking... A Hippo? I'm going to have to ahow this to my wife... She chro... Croc... Yeah that thing with the hook and yarn, she does that. She would love making something like that for our son.

 

So far I plan on going back to the USA.. yes sir.... I wouldn't live in a place like that.... it can be ok for a while...
Life in that rural area is super cheap... but it lacks in so many things...
