    Who knows?

We would have needed a pardon ourselves once or twice up there. HA...

You're right when it comes to points, however, you're talking the FMCSR and the other poster is talking Co laws and is also right. But I find it really hard to believe that Doug_xx2 as gotten a Reckless Driver citation instead has a Careless Driver cit. That's my opinion anyway.

To the OP. Are you aware of all the questions they are going to ask you when you decide to get a CDL? Somewhere along the way all the truth will come out.

Perhaps he could get a lawyer to intercept the ticket and get a hearing.

    @Doug_xx2
See about getting a hearing on your speeding ticket. Get a lawyer or just go to the court house and explain that you now would like a hearing..Do it!!
At least try and get it reduced to an under 15 mph ticket..Tell them that you’re trying to turn your life around by getting your CDL..

As far as your DW..whatever’s, don’t let those stop you.

Good luck...get that ticket reduced..you can’t afford not to.

It will show up for life and will count against you if you ever get another one.

You can get a cdl a year after a dui, but very few could hire you, but after 3 or 5 years anyone can.
Up here if it is a known driver, as soon as his year is up and he gets his cdl back, most companies will put them right back to work, several of the companies have let them work in the shop or on a piece of equipment to keep them employed until they get their license back.

If you just mailed it today that’s definitely better than last week!

Go to the court house tomorrow in person. Do it like your life depends on it.

I only received a speeding ticket not a citation for reckless driving
I only got a speeding ticket not a reckless driving charge. I was going by these when I assumed it wouldn't disqualify me from driving.

    Am I correct?
I won't lie about it job or no job. I don't do that anymore. Unless it's about fish or dates with pretty women lol

Main issue is to complete cdl school and get that cdl.
If worse comes to worse; which I doubt it will, you can drive a non-cdl truck after graduation until some company hires you.
Where are you in Colorado? Nearest city/town?

    bzinger and Doug_xx2 Thank this.
