Skydiver killed near Lodi, Calif., in collision with semi truck
hey, don't laugh at that question.
many years ago, me and another driver from a former company were driving up north(??) on Rte 50 not too far from Annapolis, MD, and there IS (or was) a small airport that the runways have the highway going thru there.
a small plane actually was trying to land, (may have been a student pilot, can't recall) and my co-worker said that at the time, HIS buddy was going thru there, and the plane touched his trailer and crashed into the field.
so i asked him, "was that a preventable"?
and he laughed and did say to me that the driver got a letter stating that he was going to be sued.
(maybe they discovered by checking into his logs or whatever, that maybe he wasn't supposed to be there at that time..???)
so you never know......
in the end, what does this mean IF they determine the trucker struck the diver.>??
ya'll gotta starting looking up now..????
morons.....jumping out of a plane is unnatural, you should die...
is trucker gonna get hit with a preventable..??

Highways are a valid option for some planes.
Here is I think one of the orignals made in that scenario as a satire of sorts. Its bad resolution due to the tech of the time period. However get a kick out of 60 ton compressing the Oleos as the heavy chirps onto the freeway. Music is unnecessarily built but the situation as it plays out is original creation.
One requires a generous amount of suspension of disbelief, in real life it would not work well.

I've read so many postings/articles that involve driver getting hit with a preventable in an accident that they didn't do anything wrong. One was a new driver who called his dispatch because of inclement weather and they told him to keep going. Nothing was wrong with what they told him to do or how he did it but a woman crossed over the medium when she lost control, stuck the rig and caused major damage. Her child died and her along with her other child were in ICU. They won the lawsuit against the driver because dispatch COULD have instructed him to drive a different route. It just baffles me.
