    I hope so

Ah, hell. Maybe all I need is for the month to turn. Then all these companies will hopefully stop asking if I'm currently driving with Swift so that I can stop having to state that Swift and I have been separated for a week. That CAN'T be helping, seeing as that always seems to be within the first 3 questions they ask me

    FlaSwampRat and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

    Perhaps.

What would be appropriate you think? Locker room pat or full blow over the knee and drop em?

    I'll mull it over.

What more could possibly be said that could even remotely be mistaken for valid after that?

Oh, fun. Now Swift won't let me claim the rest of my belongings off the truck. Time for a lawyer, I guess

Why won't they let you get your stuff? Better yet, why didn't you take all your stuff out of the truck when you parted ways?

I can't even get a reason from them.

As for why I didnt take it all... I lived in that truck. I had more stuff than I could bring on the airplane, and less than an hour to pack as much as possible before I would miss my flight. I did the best I could with the time and baggage I had available to me. The part where they said they'd ship the rest to me and for some reason I failed to spot the mounting ######## might have something to do with it as well, though

Best to just write it off as a loss and move on from it . getting lawyers involved is gonna cost more than all the stuff in that truck is worth , not to mention the headache and stress added to that.

PE_T, TruckGal13 and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

For most of it, no problem. But I still have a couple things with sentimental value that I'd like back at a minimum. Stuff that can't be replaced

    You.left.your.property.in.the.truck...

Well, let me tell you what happened. Whomever cleaned the truck out, went through your stuff, kept what he wanted and threw the rest in the dumpster. Why? Because you left it in there. That's what they do when you leave stuff in a truck.
If your truck had broken down, and they put you in a 'loaner', you'd still want to get your gear out. Why? Same thing happens. Even if you get a lawyer, you probably wont get your gear back.

    So, what's your next move?
