I don't know if I ruined this load or not

So for my whole trucking career I have been a dry van driver. Today, I get a load assignment for Costco. Not much information about the load at all, in fact there's none besides where I pick it up and where I deliver to. Also the fact that the a appointment was for yesterday afternoon.

So I get to the Costco DC. Turns out it is a reefer which I have never hauled before nor cared to.

I ask questions and the lady pretty much assures me everything is OK and it's simple. As long as they green light stays on you have no problem. She says the reefer has enough fuel so everything is good. The load is going from Dallas to Tulsa.

I get to the Costco in Tulsa, approximately 24 hours after the original appointment time.

They tell me the trailer is warm. "64 degrees". They come outside take a Pic of the little temperature Guage or whatever. I ask her if it was correct she said it is. So I'm just confused right now. I have no idea how this happened.

Edit. The reefer Guage is on +13

What is in the trailer? Did they refuse the load? Sometimes a product gets loaded warm and a reefer is not strong enough to lower the temperature. Reefers are temperature maintenance units not refrigerators.

I am curious too about if they refused the load. I pull a reefer sometimes, I never know what is in it or what temp it should be, they would have a hard time refusing it, because I just drop and hook and rarely talk to anybody on either end. lol

Currently they are unloading some of it that is still cool(below freezing or below 40). I'm guessing the stuff that they say isn't good they will put back on the truck

Well at least they seem to be working with you, but it still sucks. I know I never do anything except to check and see if there is enough fuel in them to get there, so far they have always been still running when I dropped them.

What were the load temps during transport when you did load checks?
What was the temp when you signed for load. On my BOL it states what load is set, and parameters for Temp.

The temp is always listed on the bills.

I look at the reefer temp every time I jump in or out of the truck (on duty or off).

Pay attention to details.....Box temp, fluid levels on the truck, etc, etc, etc, it all matters.

The load was like 11 degrees when I got it. When I got here they said they took the temp inside the truck and it was 64. However alot of the stuff on the truck is still at right temperature or below freezing. I just went outside and looked at the temp it is now at around 34 degrees. I'm guessing because they have the trailer door open unloading.
