Trucker friendly bank? Who do you use?

Im very old fashioned........
Been at the same bank 30 plus years (Harris bank)
I Do not do anything electronic (Deposits/withdrawals direct deposits,wire transfers)
Everything I do is in person INSIDE the Bank with my regular girls
I still use a Bank Book for a savings account
I DO on occasion use the ATM machine- But I really dont like to
Every Bill is payed via a paper check-(No auto pay)

Everyone says my money is protected- Not to Worry doing things via electronic-

I wont take that chance

 

Navy fed was fantastic to me and i regret that because of BOA bankrupting me, i wronged navy fed. If ever i wanted to apologize to a corporation it'd be navy federal.

 

I had nothing but nightmares with B of A. They would buy the current bank i was using and rates and policies would change for the worse. I would move to another bank, and within a couple of years, they would buyout that bank. I would use my own CD funds to pledge against loans and would pay 2% above the CD rate. When B of A took over, the loan rates skyrocket to 10% above CD rate. Several times i was charged with NSF fees and returned checks when i had thousands of dollars in my checking account. Of course they apologize, but damage done with the one's that got the returned check marked NSF.
Finally had enough and withdrew all my money and moved to a credit union and have not had one problem since.

 

I loved Washington mutual. Didn't they get taken over by b of a?

I love my credit unions now.

Buyouts is how i became a BOA customer initially as well. Sis got bought by bankboston who became BOA.

 

They got bought by Chase.
