From gossip.... Heard Freightliner is making the Cascadia's nicer. Putting more quality in them.
Even with the goofy problems. I can't help but love Freightliners. Never had one leave me stranded anywhere.

I don't plan on buying anymore trucks but I have to say, I'd buy new if I did. I rather enjoy coming home and parking the truck, or dropping it off at the dealer, unlike my old one, where I was under it turning wrenches every time.

Mines got over 350,000 miles on it and I expected that. This thing doesn’t rattle, and please understand rattle drive me crazy. I will hunt them down and rid myself of their auditory pain.

I was pleasantly surprised. My 2019 international had more rattles after 20,000 miles.

My cascadia had a rattle that would only show up when gaining speed from say 45 miles to 60 mph.. It was right under the headlight switch.. That one drove me the craziest .. Then the sunglass holders would rattle when idling.. I tore those dam things out then the metal pieces inside holding it together would start rattling.. I think that truck drove me more crazy then any women ever has LOL

I had a wonderful problem only a Freightliner could have.
The windshield started leaking. It wouldn't leak when I drove. Only when sitting. Called up the terminal manager. Told him I had to keep running. If I sit there in the rain. All the electronics in the dashboard would be ruined.

They gave freightshakers to the newbies because they had the music cranked up so loud they couldn't hear the rattles.

They make them very comfortable when you get into the nicer trims.

As far as rattles. California will shake your liver loose.

But God also invented the Allen key and lock washer. He also gave man the intelligence to use these items, and both go a long way towards curing the common rattle.

You can only imagine the rattles in my Peterbilt...

Like you actually have to imagine there's rattles, because there aren't any even at just shy of 700k:D
