Fozzy,
what are the paid scale for experience drivers these days?
How are the Pallet exchanges? That was always a pain in the neck for me. Each shipper and receivers had their own policies. Some we had to pay for, some they returned them all. some never returned them and we would have to find a pallet selling company.

I don't know what they are paying experienced, you can probably check the web site. tarting students make .26 and you get 4 raises in the first year up yo .30 or .31, I forget which. I saw about 30 experienced drivers at O1 but I have no idea how they are doing, but I'll tell you this, a lot of them needed to be trained. I haven't seen so many barrels knocked over even by people who never drove before.
I haven't had to deal with pallets at all.The Challenger Thanks this. -
I drove for Stevens WAY back in the day. .22 per mile when I started. I had a T600 when I started and got a T2000 after a few months. My last truck (which I got brand new) was one of the first trucks they got that had a jake. My experience with Stevens was mostly good. Something I've learned with MOST companies is that attitude is everything. Looks like you're doing great, Fozzy. Best of luck to you.

Best of luck for you too Fozzy, the reason I asked for your trainer is cuz when i worked there back 5 years ago, my trainer refuses to scale out his loads and guess what, after I got onto his truck over in amarillo, we drove over to knoxville, tn and there it was, an overweight citation.

I will look up the website to see if they post the cpm. Not all companies post their pay scale.
thanks for the update -

Stevens Does have some great trainers. Mike H. Mike U. and the now retired Mr Cotton were all great.
Remember in any field that you go into the longer your there, the more they will take care of you in the end.
Guys that jump job to job why should stevens pay you more. They cant trust you. Stick with a company for ten years and I guarentee that you will be happy when you ask for a little more.
Stevens is a great company for Owner/Operator, lease, Team, or solo. If they werent then why are there still O/O's dedicated to the company. -
