I don't think it's a good idea to get your wife involved in the business. Mixing business with family/friends is always messy and if/when she leaves you're not going to know how to run the business. I've seen it happen a million times. They always clean out all the bank accounts when they leave too and by the time you know what happend she's long gone with her new boyfriend because she was handling all the paperwork and money.

One friend of mine came home to find his wife sold everything in the house,emptied out the bank accounts,took the car and moved 5 states away with his kids leaving him with only the clothes on his back.

Another friend of mine married 20+ years let his wife take care of everything and she sure did. She let all the Bill's fall behind until collection notices started coming in that would alert him to her plan. Then she emptied out all the accounts which were full of money that should have been used to pay the last 3+ months worth of bills and moved to Boston to be with her new boyfriend. She was a bit kinder and left him a couple grand so he wouldn't starve. A couple grand isn't #### when you're an owner operator though.


I have a male CPA,Banker and dispatcher all in different states. All separate people and none are more than a friendly acquaintance to me.Nobody does billing or has access to my many bank accounts, but me

 

Sounds like they got off cheap!!! Small price to pay, in the long run. A lot of Guys wish they could be so lucky!!!

 

I understand that 100 but it's all in my name or company account. She has her account I wire what she needs. I trust but not ignorant either. So is she wants to go she'll have to take the hound or bf better have a car. Also prenup in place. I think we'll be good though. That's for sure. The first one is paying child support, but no alimony. The second one the kids were grown up and she didn't go for alimony so it could've been even worse!

I got a couple of 19-20 year old girlfriends spread around the country that keep me happy. No kids or marriage for me.
