All because he didn’t want to pin his ramps.

 

I am not going to say much about that one. I did something similar unloading my W9 off of my step, the ramps I used were plenty heavy, but where they attached let go as soon as the steers got their weight on them, and she came crashing to the ground.

 

Looks like rusty main beam on a steel framed combo? I expected it to be an aluminum trailer. Either way im pretty confident the main rail is cracked just ahead of the forward axle. Thats where our rock trailers break.

 

Me and another guy helped him. We had him pull forward and he had just enough room to get his ramp in the and pull the tractor off. Then he decided he would pin the ramps and pull it back on.

 

Not really a flat but......

i mean 14'9" ain't legal without permits anywhere and he hit that van hard, he was way over 15'

One would think a car hauler would invest in a height stick.

 

We've been discussing this on one of the carhaul FB groups whether he hit the bridge with top or if nose swing got him into the pillars.

And with high mounts, it's hit or miss as to whether they're a carhauler or just a guy who hauls cars.

Been there done that, had a ramp stand give way as i was loading up a car on the stepdeck , luckily both sides gave way at the same time and it come straight down rather that on its side. Only damage was to my ego and a lil bit embaressment lol
