The best part about nosing in, is ya find u a nice spot to park, get all set up thinking about how nice and quiet this 34 reset is gonna be .. Lay down in bed open the windows, ahhhh beautiful fresh air . not 3 minutes later the loudest reefer known to mankind noses in the spot right next to you!

I've never seen a loaded livestock hauler sleep... I don't think they do, unless they're empty.

An upside to hauling containers, especially if it's a only a 20', I can often shrink up the chassis and park in bobtail or expeditor parking. Did that one time in SLC, stopped at the J, the only parking was a very short little spot on the end, designed for a bobtail. I shrunk the chassis down, nosed in with my bumper right on the line, back of the can/chassis was maybe 6" beyond the truck next to me, left my markers on, shut the truck off and crawled in the sleeper.

Who cares about how someone parks in a spot so long as they don't hit anyone else? Better that then "making a spot" along the driveway at 3pm with a 3/4 empty lot because the driver doesn't want to walk another 100 feet to the truck stop.

Badmon, D.Tibbitt, Long FLD and 2 others Thank this.
