Thanks to all responders. So today visually inspected all but a power steering pump gears at the back of the engine, they all look good not a scratch on them. Oil pick up screen is clean. Engine turns freely. This engine is out of the wrecked truck(2016 with 420k miles) and we getting it ready to install on my truck which is 2013 and EPA10. So far the plan is to keep my ecm and program new injector trim codes. Plan B would be to change engine harness to the one like on my old engine. I’m sure someone has done this before. Any feedback about similar situation would be highly appreciated.

Need to change injectors as well being that this engine has different injectors than yours, and you will have problems with aftertreatment, shouldnt need to swap engine harness, just need to swap inj and ecm also. check all rockers on top very well almost sure that part is from the rockers.

Thanks a lot for your advice @nasriza. Original injectors are out right now as I wanted to check and visually inspect them if they didn’t have a problem with injector cups. They all look good, the line on them look good some better then others but don’t see any problems with them. I will be looking closer at the smaller rocker rollers on Monday.

I believe they are part of the rockets but u can take the rockers from the other engine.

Sort of vibration dampener they hold the engine brake rocker preloaded there is a spring that holds them down.

The reason I think they are bad because looking at the old engine ones they have a mirror smooth surface and this ones are scratched like they didn’t have no oil in between. And also before removing leaf springs(2072804) as Volvo calls them, I noticed that they were sitting right on the exhaust brake rocker and on the old engine there’s like 1/8 gap none of them touches the rocker. So either they had defective leaf springs or somehow they were bent and end up over pressuring those ball sockets(20724261) leaving them dry.
