    Never heard the term, but how would a guy get by with blacked out windows?

    Dot requires something like 30% max? thats pretty dark tint.

    They say 30% tint but it doesnt mean what you think it means.

    The 30% you put on your car is 30% of visual light gets through.

    The 30% dot says is ok is 30% of light is blocked meaning 70% gets through.

    The wording is tricky but it's still basically no tint allowed, theyll normally not say anything unless you're in a state that's anal about tint to begin with.

    Pretty sure its the same bith ways, 30% means 70% of light passes

    I was thinking 3%, but don't know. What I do know, is that more than once I have known of them make a guy remove the tint on his door windows before the truck untracks again. lol
    I drove one truck years ago, that I removed it (with the owners permission) myself, as far as I am concerned the stuff is dangerous if more than a light tint, and the way my truck was it would have looked awesome on it, but no way.

    It has to allow 70% of light through on the side windows.
