So I finally rearranged/decluttered/organized my headache rack. This was all stuff that has been in there since I got the truck

    7 chains
    6 binders
    Approx 50 bungees
    22 edge protectors
2 winch bars (1 mine, 1 in the mess)
    Pry bar
    1 4" strap
    1 2" ratchet strap

    Under bunk storage:

    Approx 50 more bungees
    10 4" straps
    3-4 2" ratchet straps
    10 edge protectors

This is all in addition to the bungees, edge protectors and straps I already use. I think Im stocked up lol.

Oh boy, all the fun you can have with this. Especially if he knows nothing. (With love...)

I usually keep Amesbury Ma in Mind when I tease people like that. Play on their supposed anxieties about sleeping that night. Amesbury was the one place where I would witness roaches 3 inches long and a foot deep in the bathtub and tell them there is a dustbroom and collection box to clear them out before you can go take a shower.

Its a wonder they never do.

If you were able to deliver this information in a offhand conversational tone as if everyone shoveled insects before bed every day you can tease them pretty good. Or my personal favorite if in a small day cab training situation.

Open a battered fuel splashed box, fish out a abused hammock hand it over to the trainee and tell him to go find two trees, We will see you in the morning.

Its a wonder they never go for that. (Put em in a hotel right quick and calm them down. He he...)

A motivational visit to the show girls will perk you right up for the drive tonight.

And maybe a box of cat nip for the kitties. Keep you awake minding the children the rest of the night.
