CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

It's been this way for a few months now, we will get a few long runs and then a bunch of solo runs.

I think losing Michael's to rail hurt us more than we thought. Too many teams not enough team freight. We were trying a new critical customer for a bit there. But from what I heard some of the teams may have ruined it for us.

 

When did we lose Michael's? I just did them a few months ago out of Jacksonville

 

Lol with me on my I wanna be home every other weekend for two days now and they got me going to deliver is la Thursday.. guess who's also highlighting for Orlando when they get there. Lol. This aughta make the south east waiting list go faster

 

We still do like dc to store deliveries for them those are solo runs.

But we used to have dc to DC runs that teams would run, from like CA to IL. Or Pa to WA and back. Good long runs. And it was our biggest contract for teams. Much like Waco and Waverly is for solo drivers.

 

Been stuck up in the North East for a while. Getting mad this 400$ paycheck isn’t going to work.

 

Only the 3rd day of the week and already at 400 gross isn't too bad .. wait till Saturday night and see where you sit.

 

That was last weeks paycheck I’m at 110$ right now.

 

Call your fleet manager about it. I think I've only had paychecks that low when I've only worked partial weeks... If you're sitting alot call and see if they can give you layover. Sometimes my fleet manager is able to add up layover from multiple days and if they reach x amount she'll give me a day or two of layover even if I haven't reached 48 hours.

 

And here i was considering dropping back down to solo for a bit..might've changed my mind lol
