I don't really plan to tbh. I just straight told them on such short notice it would be hard to find somewhere to board the dog. and see if there is someone without a pet in the area to grab it.

The only option I see is, there is a loves a block away, but one of us would have to stay behind with the dog. And I AM NOT letting my wife stand in front of loves with a dog in the middle of Houston. Hard pass. And I can't really do it, due to the fact this place looks like tight backing and my wife's skills aren't quite there to work the small yards yet. She's a good backer, but she psychs herself out alot.

So idk guess we'll see how the pieces fall, something tells me Jopmo is about to be plenty unhappy with me lmao.

No one can tell me why I’m being left up here in the north east for a week getting 100mile runs with two days to deliver when there were two drivers sitting in the lot.

Same issue at Port Comfort TX. Drivers were leaving their dogs for a few hours in Port Lavaca. Can't remember if it was a groomers or what but it was a regular occurrence.

Be patient and talk to your fleet manager. You don't know what those other drivers are doing. Maybe on their 10 or home time or a team doing a 34 etc maybe you're recaps are bad right now and it's hard to work with your hours. There's a million different reasons. Call your fleet manager. We have a really good customer that gives alot of good runs just east of Harrisburg which 50 perfect of the time you'll get if in PA. If you don't have hazmat though you won't get them.

See we had a place in Dallas a furniture place I believe. Didn't allow dogs on property. But what they did was have us pull to a side lot, drop our empty and than a yard jockey brought us the loaded and took the empty in with him.. then we went with the bills to guard shack and away we went.

Well, not at all happy with how things went down today. But it is what it is. Got pulled from the load and now I got a better load, going from New Braunfels to El Paso, than from El Paso to CA. And then a load in CA that brings me to Joplin. Quickest way to get a hilite to Joplin is step on some toes.

That's not cool if youre actually gonna get in trouble... Especially if they obviously had another driver to handle it.

According to Joplin they didn't have anyone else and that it had to be us. So idk. No big deal, I assumed it was gonna happen anyway, when you sign the pet pass it does say that if a customer doesn't allow dogs it is up to the driver to board the dog.

My problem with that is, I didn't know I needed to board the dog until 2hrs before pickup. And it was gonna take me an hour and a half to get to the pickup. How do you expect me to find a place in 30mins and deliver dog to said place. In Houston no less..if they had told me yesterday when they preplanned us we might could have done something.

But again, it is what it is lol
