When I got the load the address was a P.O. Box. Could just imagine showing up at the post office with 6 6,000lb rolls of paper.

Picked up a load in Lapel, IN from Owens Brockway. Use the computer to get the load info and bill of lading...trailer is ready. Go outside to find the trailer in the dock with yard dog about to hook up to it to pull it out. Keen98 says, hey that's the trailer we are taking. We'll drop our empty and pull it out. Yard dog got really upset and told us to let him do his job.
We use the bathroom. Drop the empty, roll under the loaded trailer (since moved by the yard dog) and find he left it raised too high (I suppose better than too low).
Then we proceeded to leave and risk the Indiana 13 South closed road except local traffic. Ended up having to drive in reverse for at least a half mile...I hope that still counted toward my 15000.
But delivering in Dunkirk, IN this morning, the fact we got a DNH in Lapel headed to Eau Claire for Monday and routed for Keen's weekend home time and got here at 2 in the afternoon, the day couldn't have gone too much better.MIT and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this. -
2800 more miles and @packersfanmw87 will be rolling solo. Already scheduled to pick up the next student from Richfield on the 28th of Oct. Be the last 1 for this yr.

Want to get running solo asap so I can have my wife join me asap. She's coming to visit for 5 months or so on December 6. I think December and early January will be hard...
MIT Thanks this. -

Mom and I were talking about Ashley Furniture last week and I told her that we sometimes hauled it but I hadn't ever gotten a load of it. I'd picked a load of parts going to Ashley from that place across the street from the beer distributor in Glenwillow, but never been to the big place in Arcadia. Wouldn't you know it, I got a load out of there Friday, delivered in Mesquite today with 9 minutes remaining on my 70. Already got a reload tomorrow, too.
Which one of you guys went to that Miller DC on Oak Grove in Fort Worth? Anything I need to know about it other than it looking a little cramped? -
I had 3 detours in 3 days. One where they're working on the bridge right before 90 joins 80 west of Cleveland, one on George Street in La Crosse (I think I'm gonna start going into that place from the back way when I can), and one somewhere in Iowa where I fueled at a Love's and the get on ramp was closed so I had to backtrack up 35 for 6 miles to the next exit to turn around. -

@Gremlin304 how bad was Lakeshore Beverage when you went there? Getting there doesn't seem to bad according to driver directions. What bout the lot? Sounds like plenty room to maneuver but each dock is really close to each other?
