It's a beautiful sight when every single light you can see on the Interstate for several miles is another truck... Not a single 4 wheeler in sight. Thats what I saw this morning from a high spot at 0300... Nothing but semis all safely spaced and moving at speed, for as far as the eye could see ahead and in the mirrors.

Now its time to go to bed... And decide if I want to travel the last 350 miles to my Monday morning delivery tonight or wait until tomorrow night. Got to check my dispatch and see where and when I need to be to get my back haul.

Well got held up at shipper, 4 hours to load, another 3.5 hour to tarp...appt was at 1900 didnt leave til around 0230... I hate glass loads, this is my 2nd glass load and they have both been an absolute PITA... both glass loads i have done now were to get me back home, i am done with glass, they can shove it up there ##* ...it is not worth the waste of time to spend 7 hours working a load... ....luckily i got a 2 hr "off duty" break in while "not working" at shipper, so im sitting on a on ramp on the side of ca58 waiting for my split 8 break to be done so i can GTFO of this god forsaken place....not to mention i am 1000 over on the drives so im gotta do some scale dodging... wish me luck, yall be safe out there..

 

Man I’m starting to worry about you. I know that often the best way to get punched in the mouth is to tell someone to relax. But man... you need to relax before you blow a gasket.

I’d suggest some yoga or maybe some mood crystals to center your chi.

I get it. You hate California, but don’t let that, or a shipper/receiver/dispatch or whatever get you man. Your better than that.

So relax.
