Leave out cookies/treats? Maybe you can tame it and get it to be a protector spirit for the little one?

I was hinting with a niece a few years back. We were gonna walk through this area & her dad pick us up on the other side. He called her & said he couldn't get over there to go back where we came from. A bear had been tracking us. Never seen it.

I was stalked and captured by many a cougar from the time I was 16 until my late 30's.

I rent a little farm house in Grace where I stay during the week when I'm on call. The landlord had some problems with peacocks getting killed. Apparently, a big cat (we have game camera pics) climbed the big pine in my yard and had himself some peacock snack-y-poo's. Landlord saw him three feet away from my bedroom window at 2 am three weeks ago.

I put up some motion lights and that stopped that nonsense. But we're down 9 peacocks.... And I don't let just one dog out at night anymore.

There are no taming those. I know them as mountain lion and we are it's prey by virtue of being competition for local resources. If it would attack its first and main goal is to complete a total bite on your neck for the kill.

Ive had a box of .255 grain in hardcast lead in .45 super at 1350 from Buffalo Bore for those things or bear. If you hear thunder wait a bit to see which of us come out of the woods. Cat or me.

Yep trying to tame a big cat or bear would most likely not be a good idea......

But domesticating a wondering spirit could be good fun... Think Casper. The kids story not the truck.

wondered when some one would post that. Thankyou

Well the wife insisted we needed to go to home depot to get a piece of ridgid roofing. I am sore from tryying to walk the width of the store and 6 aisles (double on return trip). Not easy todo when out of shape. Tho it does help to lose weight. Or at least it will now that I am no longer over eating. sigh
