Could you be specific as to which two drivers? I just need to know if I have to get all huffy and snarly. If you're talking about me I'll try to work up a good mad but if you're talking about someone else I'm going back to pouting about not getting to spend the weekend with T'sW. :biggrin_25525:

Aye... the Volvo's do pretty good. Got a Cummins in mine and even with 40k in the back it can do 8.5. Can't speak to the model number though. I'm just too new at this :p.

I have gotten 9.5 in a frlnr century but I am local and never have to idle. And by the way there is no over idle, no over speed, and no over rpm thats what my QC looks like. HMMMMMMMMMMMM.

I do a regional run, usually sumner wa to yreka ca and back. (though the miles look like one of my rare trips to montana). The loads are about 10k, unless its downhill I never exceed 55. Most of the time the engine is running at 1200 rpm or less.

Ya, I think people who get high mpgs probably have QC's that have 0 for over idle, overspeed and over rpm.:yes2557:

yea i feel for you here at JB Hunt they want you at 20% as well and every week they out the guys that are over 36% and praise the guys that are dumb enough to suffer in 120 degree trucks that have 0-2% idle %s. Im normally in the 36% idle range and every week its * please get your percentage down we all want you to get your fuel bonus * like 100 bucks is going to make me want to suffer every night so you guys in your air conditioned cubicles can feel all high and mighty and think you know what its like to be a driver. go F urselves and let us do what we do best DRIVE, if you dont like us idling then put a little bit of money into the cause and buy us generators or pay 100% of idleair. HAHA like that would happen.

It was in response to the two individuals claiming that I may have ties to a religious group known as the Latter Day Saints.

I believe that has summed up the entire industry.
