Same agent called me this morning. Offered some loads to nebraska. Compared to what I turned down last week. These loads were payin $3 per mile less for same miles and weighed 5000 lbs more......are you kidding me !!....told him to quit call in me till he has sumthin worth doin.
Drove 95 miles today to pickup a round trip load. 720 miles for $13000 at 94000 lbs....sound to good to be true ? ...yep, ended up weighing around 120000 lbs and they punched a hole in my floor. Unloaded and drove home. $1200 for my trouble. The boy at the job said The regular guy does them all the time. Told him you better call him. He said can't he broke his trailer last week......just gave him the blank stare.

 

Afternoon gents.

Picked my loaded trailer up in Ste. Agathe yesterday from the driver that went down to Wisconsin and came back with steel from Elkhart, IN.

Made Swift Current last night, delivered this morning in Calgary and am now sitting at the J in Calgary doing a reset because the trailer needed a safety and likely won't be ready till Wednesday (*rolls eyes*).

The upside is I should be able to be home for my booked off time on the 2nd. *sigh*
