I will admit my first lease I failed miserably, but I learned from my mistakes I listened to season drivers that also lease and I sat down and wrote myself out a plan and I follow it strictly and I make money my trucks are being paid my drivers are being paid none of my trucks sit all of my trucks are rolling and I haven't had turnover of drivers so if you want to make it you can but you just have to pay attention to what you're doing and not be a hot head

 

Let me explain my skepticism maddog. Member for 6 years only 4 posts and 2 of them are defending a lease purchase. Just not a whole lot of credibility there.

That's 100% completely fine I understand your skepticism however I don't get on the internet and play all the time I just happened to log in found my email and password that I had forgot how to get in and got into the forum now so I can join however if people want to start jumping and bad-mouthing somebody just because they finally got into the form rather than a warm welcome hey how you doing Welcome to The Forum then I can just as easily walk back out and never come back in I may have some things to help people with so don't attack somebody just because you feel something in your mind everybody is open to their own opinion but sometimes it's not proper to jump someone

 

Not an attack just pointing out that you have been inactive and all of the sudden you reply to an old thread(over 6 months) to disagree with the op if you think about it and spend some time looking around the forums I think you can see how you might look like a company schill. Please hang around and add to the forum if you’re genuine it will show.

Ive been out here since 97' and I have ran pretty much everything freight wise.

The industry is nowhere what it once was.
But I will try to shed some experience for the greenhorns and help where I can..

I started in 1998. I agree with you. Thinking of leasing with rti. I am interested in leasing a 579. Any thoughts or advice would be great?

 

Yeah advice? Don't do it run after everything I said good about them they turned around and royally screwed me last week I'm not going to get into it but I will tell people to stay away from their program things are all well and dandy for months at a time then all of a sudden you see company trucks running and they don't run LP or 00 trucks that's what happened to me so I cancelled my lease and I went elsewhere and brought my drivers with me

 

I've learned my lesson I will never do any lease ever again as far as I'm concerned from what I have seen you can make just as much if not more with a small mom-and-pop company that pays you and respects you well and drive a glider with no emissions and virtually zero downtime
