Didn't have that handsome co-driver back then.
And I just rolled across like I always do.
Didn't even wave with 1 finger!

Man u guys are better than me. I hope i never get in that position where they is not letting me leave for 200 pounds... They will have 2 lumber tarps sitting on their desk at the very least..i think that would take me over my breaking point lol

I'm going with your story pal but Nebraska carrier enforcement is pretty easy going .
    I wouldn't worry about 500 libs...anywhere .

I'm sure they are. I was surprised myself.
But that was a long time ago. Maybe he was having a bad day and needed to mess up someone else's.

Omg your over, you will lose everything because of it. Be prepared to be arrested and charged with a serious crime.

    Seriously op, just go.

Your worries are good to have but with people running with 1000 lbs plus over on drives as part of their normal day.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Alot of places don't allow drivers on the dock anymore. Insurance reasons due to idiots going in trailer then forklift runs in.

    240lb? ha

eh i rolled thru the scales on i74w at the ohio/in line 2100 lb over on the trailer. 53’ trailer. i had the trailer tandems at about 43’ in a mitigation effort. tandems too long and over axle, i got the green light. but not after sitting on the scale for what seemed like an eternity. got the trailer at a relay. 2500lb under gross. i knew by reading the susp gauge it was tail heavy. i thought i’d get by before they opened. apparently they open early on friday mornings.
