Someone got a deal on welding rod. I would say wire, but none of it looked that nice.

i'll bite five hundred days later since Scott doesn't know much more than I...

this is what I pulled off our FB page from early october...
truck will probably be a daycab Mack, automatic...

you'll pull a wide variety of trailers; flats, steps, rgns, extendables, QUICKDRAWS, and whatever else needed. I would also assume that you would pull OD loads locally as that's a large part of what goes on in Wichita. I'd figure a lot of time spent running to Park City, KS and back to Wichita, along with Spirit Aerospace on the south side. Probably some day trips down to OKC as needed, maybe Topeka and back, but mostly TMX outta Park City I'd imagine... we have enough crap outta Wichita to keep one guy busy all week long any given week of the year... you will also probably end up delivering some of the stuff our OTR solo guys "get out of delivering" if time is crunching them. Wichita always has flatbed quickdraws in the yard and i'd be willing to bet that's what your bread and butter would be.

As far as the company, SPD is a great place to be. shouldn't be hard to move you over into a regional position or OTR later on if the daily grind in wichita gets to boring. as far as the pay, benefits -- cut n dry on the bennies. don't know what special stuff maverick would offer but I don't pay more for health/dental here than I did at melton and my checks never bounce. hard to complain. don't know if the hourly pay is up to snuff for the wichita area so :/

If it is acceptable to have a fuel, oil or gas tank in a containment device why is that not acceptable in your case. Some are plastic, metal or masonry. Drop some concrete and put blocks around it. If it leaks it is contained. Screw you.
Just sharing the thought but I have to get out of here. This regulation crap is getting bad for my blood pressure. Catch ya,all later.

    One question......

    WHY?!?!

Is this something he WANTS to do or is momma and poppa projecting on him?

I am honestly curious and would like to understand their mindset/thought process.
