    Yes i have manual shift but it will lock it out after a certain period of time. The only time i use it is going down a grade or when i rolling around the truckstop .

    Ours had that, paddle on the column shift in 2001. Stay in a gear all day upgrade or down.

    Its the only way to have a auto, with a manual capability. Any company that locks that or fails to buy that feature is foolish to the extreme.

    I am some what surprised the makers of the trucks dont put a gear shift in with the controls to the auto on the shifter. I suppose its a milennial thing

    Just wait once some of the new drivers become super truckers. They will adapt the long shifter into the handle for the auto controls LOL big pole hanging off the steering wheel 3 ft
