All I know is that with Trans AM you will have to be a L\O with them.

Have just been in both of the yards that TA has, Olathe, Ks and Rockwall, Tx. Saw that there were # 40 trucks waiting to be given out. They are a combination of both L/O and company. They do push the L/O but they still hire company also.

You'll find several threads on TA if you do a search, most of them bad. As a company driver, I'm doing ok with them, now. Have been averaging about 3000 a week for the last couple of months. Wonder if it has to do with getting a new DM?

If you do go with TA, be prepared to be micromanaged. They have turned into mostly a training company and operate as such. They bow to the god of confusers and have program for everything. The one that kills me the most tho is the god of temp. control. If your BOL is not within the paramters of what their comfusers say it should be, you WILL be required to waste your time and money faxing a copy to them. Your word is NOT good enough and heaven forbid that they should call the company directly to get that info. Other than that tho, if you pick up and deliever your loads on time, they'll pretty much leave you alone.

One other word of caution, always check your pay stub cause they will "forget" to pay you or repay you for some little item. Hope this helps.
