Just turned my truck in and headed to orientation tomorrow. Overall, no complaints about Roehl but it was time to move on.

Always kept me busy. Majority of freight is Northeast and Midwest but we do tons of freight in Chicago and it gets old quick. Especially most are very short loads -
I am from Virginia so I can kind of expect the freight lanes I will be on and won't see much of the west but maybe I'll have a good working relationship with my future FM and it could happen every now and then.
I know a lot of these mega trainer companies claim they pay X per mile when in reality your base is much lower than that and that number includes all of the fuel and safety bonuses that they will take away for any reason they can find. From the information I was told Roehl isn't like that. The rate they tell you is your base rate. I was given a rate higher than I've seen posted here or on their website so I'm hoping that holds up. -
.1 CPM is a safety bonus. Should you have an accident you lose that penny for 90 days. We have divisions that run outwest like flatbed and curtainside however van typically doesnt go any farther west than Denver. If you have any questions I just left and am more than happy to answer them

One last thing would be what would you recommend bringing to training and what would you recommend bringing once you get with your driver trainer for 25 days?
