Ok, the ONLY reason why i'm giving this one the thumbs up (because i hate most T/As with a passion) is due to the massive parking available---they say 158, but if you get creative there could be more.
Other than that mediocre at best food, cleanliness and restrooms.
Not the worst TA i've seen ,but certainly no better than typical TA which isn't saying a whole lot.

I take it, getting creative means parking in front of the scale entrance, along side red curbs, on the other side of painted lines at the end of a row, and in the driveway, right?
-
Nope ! hit the last fuel lane put on the flashers and set out a road flare behind your truck.
Then hit the sheets !

I think Jessup may have it beat!

1) The thing is you probably wouldn't have to get "creative" due to the large # of parking here(there's another T/A the next exit up so this means even more parking). But IF you did need to get creative, i consider creative parking along the curb, but definitely not blocking the scale or fuel pumps or other trucks. Also parking along and established row but with no actual painted lines is ok if it's just one more row.
2) The only areas in which jessup beats this one is in the areas of scuminess and prostition and loserism and negativity. DO NOT GO TO JESSUP T/A UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES UNLESS EMERGENCY.Charli Girl and HFC Thank this. -
I will have to agree!
I guess my sarcasm didn't ring thru the internet appropriately!!! I have only been to Jessup twice myself... The first time because I didn't know.... The second time because I had to really really really go potty & just couldn't hold it much longer! -
That TA used to be a REAL truckstop back in the day when it was Speed and Briscoe.....
HFC Thanks this. -
The reason that lot never fills up is because there is another TA right up the road at xit 93 I think. And they just repaved part of it, xit 89, not too long ago and put up new lights. I have to agree with the OP. I have relatives in Richmond and always know I can get a space there no matter what time I come in. I can't agree about the restrooms and food though. And you don't want to be in there when the GreyDog comes through.

Is this the t a with the popeyes
