I was in the draft toward the end of Vietnam. It ended before my number came up. I'm ashamed to admit that I was happy not to have to go. Our servicemen were dealt a bad hand in that one without the support of the country.

To those of you who have served, thank you. My hat is off to you.

Agree 100%, but those boys will tell you that it’s just another day at the office and go out tonight and do the same thing — just won’t make the news or the debate club

I've only ever been on elds "technically". I can and have run paper I just prefer the keeptruckin app because I can edit it and not have to start a new sheet. I prefer not logging anything period because only I know when I'm tired etc etc etc the guvment dont need to tell me when I can and cant drive my truck yada yada yada

on your original question - if you are flying out to pick up the truck. You must either take a 10 hour break prior to going on duty or you must log your travel time as line 4 “On-Duty Not Driving” and then the trip back as you normally would. The reason cited is you are traveling at the behest of the carrier, I received a detailed explanation once from the scale at Dunsmuir CA and some CSA points to help me remember. I had left the receipt for my plane ticket in with my paperwork - not realizing that it was anything other than like driving to work in my car.

I am sure there are many ways you can wiggle around this but that is what the man would like you to do
