I’ve heard about people that live near the border of a high tax state, the fuel will be similar pump price on each side of the line. They’ll but their fuel in the high tax state but do most of their running on the low tax state. Not my personal experience except it’s believable.

Buy the least expensive fuel before taxes. The taxes you owe will be the same either way.

 

Frozen or liquid the Great Lakes are some of the most dangerous water in the world. No place to be caught in a storm ever.

 

I have no idea why but my first real knowledge of that was the SS Edmond Fitzgerald. That ship sinking with all lost just stuck in my brain.
