Let me straighten out something and make it real clear. EVERY TRUCKING COMPANY on earth cares more about the load then the driver bottomline. If you think your more important then the load at your company then go and deliver 2 or 3 loads late next week come up with some great excuse about being sick out of hours and see how long you keep your job. Face it people they are in the business of moving freight not giving you a job!Jayshawn89, scottied67, Eskimo6804 and 5 others Thank this. -

I'm giving you the whole story. I have been talking with a couple of attorney's. My conversation with Mr. Christner went basically that I thought it was unfair to give the new trucks to the new drivers when some of us were having real issues with our trucks. He told me he had sold trucks for less issues than mine, I told him I didn't have that option, but I was happy at the company. He told me he didn't control that anymore and I thanked him for his time and left. Total conversation, less than 5 minutes. Was told I probably stepped on someone named Shannon's toes by going to Mr Christner? No service failures, even for weather, no tickets, no failed DOT's, no wrecks - you tell me

hi all im new here. and i have a real good one about jct. they run you all you can handle, i signed on with them in august 09, i was terminated monday 4/19/10 so here it is three weeks ago they (jct) shut me down for a 34hr restart luckly i was at home i asked to take 3 days off and forget my home time the following week, i was told no you take that load after 34hr and we get you back for home time on the 16th i said ok. got me a load from california to temple tx it had osd they asked me to take to dallas i went up there this is friday at 230pm they tell me we have a load that dels at 530 in temple this way you dont dh 300 miles home i said fine but i'm not going to get there at 530 respons from dispatcher oh we got it set up they will take whatever time you get there i show up to walmart at 745 they say nope you need to reschedule well i told the inteligetn life form (nite dispatch) they said well you stuck with i guess wrong answer i drove home sent my offduty msg they replied you not mty can't send offduty macro monday dispatcher calls me says you del that load, where is it, i tell them 3 hours later we need to clean truck out i head to truck stop truck trailer gone they towed it for been in unsecured location yes its part of the agreement but they could just as easily said take it to dealer across street or something,i have no bad feelings cuz the way i see it they did me a favor. by the way when i started there i got into a t600 used with 500000 miles why no other trucks or new trucks where available to our oriantation class in the 8 months i was there i never once had a possitive balnce on my maintance account i went $6000 in hole with that kw and in nov they still would not give me the oppportunity to move into a new truck they finally did but like i said i was 6000 in hole

Well I'm going to put my 2 Cents in , NEVER is it a good idea to buy ANYTHING from the person you work for on credit. You guys that go out and l/p these trucks gotta have a screw or 2 loose. Why do you think they have these programs? Is it so they can sell trucks to people that can't save enough to make a down payment? or is it because they want to give a 150000.00 truck to somebody that doesn't have enough credit to finance a bicycle? OR do you think maybe they do it because it makes the company money? My guess is it's the latter
