    I’m not sure which is more horrifying:

    1. Looking back thru a daycab window and seeing your red emergency line dangling right above the drive tire as you go down the interstate, knowing it could rip off at any moment and lock the brakes down.

    2. Realizing you don’t have any way to secure it so you go into the truck stop and purchase the “Rapist On The Go” starter kit with zip ties and nylon rope.

    Well, there weren’t any roadblocks, the Prepass was working, and I can cross “zip tie a broken glad hand in place for 150 miles to avoid the service call” off the Jerry Rigging bucket list.

    Tomorrow is a new adventure at “Maintenance is Overrated Express”.
