Yeah, everything I've gotten so far is Pilot. Not terrible to have a few shower passes there for next month. Sucks that it seems like I barely used the Platinum for this month.

As long as they are consistent and I can get 1000 gallons at one place or the other. Heck I stopped at one fuel solution Pilot where the diesel was one cent more expensive than the Love's next door.

 

So is it worth it going through the woods to get to Lithia Springs from Cartersville or should I just take the interstate in the morning? I seem to remember these roads being pretty decent but I've not been on them in a truck.

 

Pump price isnt what millis pay . They got varying discounts at each 1 and it seems as if pilot must be running bigger discount right now. Hell at 1 time Kwik Trips were our cheapest fuel and was always told to fill up there but I just got a Kwik Trip for only 64 gallons on solution.

 

Most of my fuel since I've been out this time around has been terminal fuel. Seems like they alternate between Love's and PFJ. Last couple of months until recently it was mostly Love's for me. Now it's Pilots when it's not terminal fuel.

Fueled at the J in Altoona, IA yesterday. I remember going there back in the 90s and it being a super nice truck stop. Now it's trash.

What inspired my post was gonna stop in the Huck's in Kuttawa today. Since they've been remodeling that place as a Pilot affiliate they've made a mess of the parking lot so I noped right out of that and kept on trucking.

Not a huge fan of the Road Rangers except for the the Dixie on 55, but they all seem to have improved since they are no longer in bed with Pilot. Good.

Was that before Pilot bought out/merged with Flying J? If so that explains it. The Pilot effect.

 

I went the main roads on that exact route the other day and it was faster but as you know depends on the time of day and how many reckless Atlantians have crashed their cars when you need to go thru there.
I went the back woods roads one day from somewhere out in that general area to Cartersville with no problems when the interstate was all $*%, up by said Atlantians.

 

Yeah a long time before that merger. I still mostly like Flying J's but they aren't what they used to be. They used to be hands down my favorite truck stop chain. To the point that for years after I was no longer a truck driver, I still made it a point to fuel at Flying J's when I took road trips.

 

Getting all the fun docks this week. In Peru, IL today unloading at James Hardin. Blindside offset dock with a nice downgrade with snow and ice. But got it in there one shot.

Trying to buy a house while.driving OTR sucks. Does anybody know how I can get .PDF files printed without going to Office Depot? I thought I could do it at a Transflo kiosk but apparently not.
